Rock Fibre Duct Slab
PAROC HVAC Slab AluCoat (Duct slab) is a non-combustible stone wool rectangular slab for thermal and condensation insulation of ventilation ducts and other ventilation equipment. Product has a reinforced aluminium foil facing.
In order to regulate temperature within heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems insulation must be applied. Ductslab can provide the thermal insulation to these HVAC systems as well as cold water storage, feed and expansion tanks.
Surface temperature of the facing must not exceed 80°C (temperature restriction determined in accordance with heat resistance adhesive).
PAROC stone wool products are capable of withstanding high temperatures. The binder starts to evaporate when its temperature exceeds approximately 200°C. The insulating properties remain unchanged, but the compressive stress weakens. The softening temperature of stone wool products is over 1000°C.
